The Tissue

Understanding placental membrane allografts

The placental membrane naturally functions as a protective barrier surrounding the developing fetus. Innova's allografts preserve that native structure so the tissue can perform the same basic function in the recipient: serving as a covering and barrier over a wound or surgical site.

  • Recovered from donated placental tissue following informed maternal consent.
  • Minimally manipulated so the natural structure and properties of the membrane are retained.
  • Dehydrated & sterilized for a stable, sterile, ready-to-use format stored at ambient temperature.
